Full Moon Party, Thailand
Every month crowds flock to Koh Phangan and Haad Rin Nok (Sunrise Full Moon Party Beach) beach for the infamous Full Moon Party. Numbers vary but in peak season the beach sees up to 30,000 revellers partying until dawn in front of massive state of the art sound systems and light shows.
Jungle Experience is one of the original underground dance gatherings in Koh Phangan. This unique eco party location in a beautiful secret garden clearing deep in the midst of the Baan Tai jungle has a natural mountain stream running through the party zone and leading you to the stunningly decorated dancefloor.
Several resorts on the island offer Pool Parties at Coral Bungalows, Foam Party at Drop In Resort and Spa which tend to attract the younger crowd and there are a variety of live music venues featuring open-mic nights and well known Thai bands as The Jam at Wok Tum Bay.
Halfmoon Dance Festival is located in the Baan Tai Koh Phangan jungle and takes place one week either side of Full Moon Party and one week after Full Moon Party (Haad Rin Beach). Trance and progressive beats are supplied by the 'Harmony Team'. Come and Satisfy your Soul.
Another popular outdoor event attracting a sizeable crowd is the monthly Black Moon Party in Baan Tai . This is a well organized beach party offering trance music in a UV decorated venue. Also worth checking out is jungle based Shiva Moon Party and the Pirate Bar Moon Set Party which takes place on the beach near Srithanu.
